AML and CTF Policies

Information about AML and CTF

Money-laundering (ML) and Terrorism financing (TF) are illegal activities that may be performed by people when using services that deal with money. ML is the act of obfuscating the origins of transactions that have originated from criminal activity to be traded into legitimate money or assets and TF is the act of providing financial assistance to a terrorist organisation and may involve ML.
Yora Settlements must obey relevant legislation by consistently monitoring activities on the platform and performing Know-Your-Customer (KYC) procedures to fully identify customers. Yora Settlements has an Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism-Financing (CTF) policy in place to protect our platform from misuse and create a safer society. By law, Yora Settlements must report suspicious matters to the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (AUSTRAC) and take reasonable steps to verify the identities of our customers by performing KYC processes.
